What is considered a Pre-Existing Condition?

Generally, a Pre-Existing Condition is any accidental injury or illness for which medical advice, diagnosis, care or treatment has been recently recommended or received before a policy’s effective date. Tin Leg considers travelers to have a pre-existing condition if there have been any changes to their medical history (like those listed above) within 180 days prior to the date they purchase their policy.
